Reflection- uploading images to blogger

Today I learned how to upload an image to blogger. This photo is the one of me at the Natural History Museum in Washington DC trying to impersonate a T Rex.

Uploading an image is actually really easy- the only tricky part is to first resize it so that it isn't massive when you upload it! There is even a help file on how to do this in blogger- click here to go to it!

Because of this learning I can now show others how to do this and tell the rest of the team how to do this. A picture says a thousand words!

The next step in my learning is to get Karen blogging along with us!

Reflection- genealogy term

Yesterday I learned a new word about genealogy. This word is an acronym and is GEDCOM. This acronym stands for GEnealogical Data COMmunications, which is a special file format (like .csv or .doc) especially for family tree information. I'm not sure what it does but it is important to know about.

Because of this learning I now know a little bit more about how to gather and organise genealogy information.

The next step in my learning is to find a way to gather information about family trees so it will guide team 14 into thinking carefully about the information they gather.

Baby update!!

Angela is starting to feel 'flutters' of the baby moving around inside her!! I can 'sort of' feel them but am not quite sure if it's my imagination. Perhaps we are having a soccer player?

The only down side to this is that it usually happens just before Angela goes to sleep when she is lieing down!!
